The Egyptian Clothing Bank partners with Attujariwafa Bank and Cocoon Cultural Centre

In collaboration with Attijariwafa Bank and Cocoon, the initiative "From Waste to Good Taste" has launched a new program aimed at training a group of 80 fashion designers in recycling workshops. These training sessions are hosted at the Duwar Association for Arts and Development in Ezbet Khairallah and will run for three months.

Workshop Overview:

The program consists of six comprehensive workshops, each focusing on different aspects of recycling and sustainable design:

 

1.Textile Recycling
2.Reusing Broken Glass
3.Paper Recycling
4.Leather Waste Transformation
5.Creating Recycled Fashion Pieces
6.Clothing Recycling
 

The initiative aims to empower emerging fashion designers by equipping them with the skills needed to create sustainable, eco-friendly fashion. By focusing on recycling, participants will not only enhance their design capabilities but also contribute positively to environmental sustainability.

This collaboration marks a significant step towards fostering creativity and innovation in the fashion industry while promoting sustainable practices. As the workshops progress, the participating designers will develop valuable skills that will enable them to make a meaningful impact in the world of fashion and beyond.
